Driver Re-Foam Enquiry

Over the years the foam or rubber suspension around your loudspeaker bass and mid drivers can degrade and eventually fall apart completely. To check if your drivers need re-foaming, gently pinch the surround at the outer edge of the cone. If it comes off or tears, they need replacing.

Complete the form below to enquire about our Re-Foam service and carefully remove the drivers that need fixing from the cabinets. Remember that the internal wiring will be attached to the speaker. Sometimes the wires are soldered to the terminals on the driver. If you can, de-solder them. If you do not have a soldering iron simply cut the wires about 2 inches away from the driver. When you get them back from us, you can simply re-join the wires safely using a connection block available from DIY stores.
